Comments: I went back and forth over if I should add this hotel to the
list or not. In the end, my love for this place insisted that I
absolutely must add it.
There have been tons of reviews online so I don't have much to add. If you've never heard of it, I'll add a few comments here.
While children are allowed, I wouldn't
bring my kids here. This hotel is more a work of art and nothing they'd
be used to. There are no TVs, no phones, and absolutely no amenities,
with the exception of the best toilet paper on earth (you'll know if
you've stayed there!) Only 20 of the 54 rooms have private baths.
The draw of the place is the art. A former shelter for drug addicts,
the place was removated by artists in the 80's, and every inch of the
place has a different mural and theme.
I rated this the absolute best in spite of the fact that it has none of
the things I require in a hotel. I love this hotel with all my heart.
This is a place for a weekend getaway that's a little... different.
